CM to visit Cuttack’s Narsinghpur today to launch a slew of projects

Bhubaneswar: Adding to his whirlwind tour of different districts of the state over past few months, CM Naveen Patnaik will visit Narsinghpur block of Badamba Assembly Constituency in Cuttack district today to launch projects worth Rs 931 cr and address a public gathering.

As per a CMO communique, Naveen will reach Anant Narayan High School ground located in Badamba in the noon and launch a mega piped drinking water project to be set up at a budget of 273 cr. Once completed, the project will benefit residents of around 73 panchayats of both Badamba and Narasinghpur blocks.

Similarly, in a solace to the drought prone Badamba-Narasinghpur area, Naveen will also launch the first phase installation of the Rs 400 cr mega lift irrigation project on the occasion, costing around Rs 225 cr.

Among others, Rs 80 cr worth Narasinghpur Electric Grid along with Sub Grids at Gopapur, Dhobaninala and Maradmukha will be dedicated to the public during CM’s visit today.

Later, Naveen will address a massive public gathering at the venue to disseminate information of various public welfare schemes currently launched by his government at the state to people.

BJD MP Bhartruhari Mahtab, local MLA Debi Prasad Mishra and several other dignitaries will remain present at the gathering.
