CM Naveen Patnaik inaugurates Janibili Mega Project in Berhampur
This is Odisha’s first integrated water supply project
Berhampur: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Sunday inaugurated the first phase of Janibili piped water supply project here. It is touted to be worth Rs 431 crores and is built on Dharakote block’s Janibili in Berhampur.
The Janibili project is Odisha’s first integrated water supply project and is said to cater to the drinking water need of 1, 14,000 people initially. About five lakh residents of at least 53 nearby villages shall be profited.
Honourable Chief Minister also inaugurated projects worth Rs 18 cr and lay foundation stones for several others to be set up at a budget of Rs 30 crores. He later addressed a massive gathering at the Khallikote College stadium.
