Balangir: A class four student of Pathar Chepa Primary School of Balangir has alleged the schools’ Principal of unfairly thrashing him. His hostel superintendent filed the report on his behalf on Saturday.
The nine-year-old boy stays at Parbatagiri Balaniketan and studies at the Pathar Chepa Primary school. He has alleged that his principal Bijayani Mishra of giving favourable treatment to other students and slapping him mercilessly even when he was being denied his due. An official complaint has been filed against the Principal who has refuted all of the allegations. She maintains that she treats all the students equally.
The local police have begun a detailed investigation on the serious allegations with a complete health check-up of the boy. District Child Protection Unit has decided to intervene in the matter since it involves a minor.
