CM Naveen Patnaik Inaugurates ‘Drink From Tap’ In Cuttack

Cuttack: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday inaugurated a 24-hour drinking water supply system for the city of Cuttack through video conferencing.

Reportedly, all the families in Cuttack will have access to 24-hour piped water through the drinking water program inaugurated by the Chief Minister today. It will benefit 7,00,000 people of 1,40,000 families in the city. Around Rs, 790 crore has been spent on the project.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister expressed his happiness saying that all the families in 60 cities of the state, including Cuttack, have been provided with 24-hour piped water. All households in all 114 cities in the state will be provided with 24-hour piped water.

The Chief Minister inaugurated the Drink from Tap program in two zones of Cuttack and laid the foundation for the Drink from Tap program for the entire city for which Rs 370 crore will be invested. He also inaugurated three water treatment plants worth Rs 930 crore.
