Baripada: In yet another train track mishap in the state, a Class-10 boy was mowed down by a speeding train near Gosala Chhak level crossing here on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Rabindra Behera of Ward-7 of Municipality area.
As per the report, the victim minor, who studied in MKC High School, was on his way to tuition class in the morning when the mishap took place. While crossing the track he failed to spot the Balasore-Bangiriposi DEMU and came under its wheels.
Government Railway Police (GRP) and Baripada Police rushed to the spot immediately and seized the body for autopsy at Baripada Medical College.
