Malkangiri: In a tragic incident, a girl child died while four others were taken ill after they consumed food at a village feast. The incident took place in the Bandhaguda village under Mathili Block in Malkangiri district of Odisha.
As per reports, Dhana Naali of Bandhaguda village had gone to attend a feast in Nuaguda village along with her children. All of them consumed food at the feast.
However, after they returned to home all of them fell ill. Accordingly, they were rushed to the hospital at Mathili. A girl child succumbed to the illness there while under treatment. Later, as the health condition of others also deteriorated, they were shifted to Malkangiri district Head quarter hospital.
Thankfully, the doctor at Malkangiri hospital has said that the health condition of the admitted patients is improving.
