Deogarh: A brother-sister duo on Tuesday was killed as a passenger bus mowed over their bike resulting in their death. The duo met with an accident near Hadamunda area on NH-53 in Deogarh district.
The deceased have been identified as Santosh Pradhan and Simarekha Biswal. Both of them hailed from Baghiabandh village of Deogarh district.

Reports suggest the brother-sister duo travelling to Deogarh at around 7 am today when a bus en-route to Angul collided head-on with it near Hadamunda. While Santosh was declared dead on spot, Simarekha was declared ‘brought dead’ at Deogarh District Headquarters Hospital.
Local police arrived on spot and have begun an investigation.
