Boudh: In a shocking road mishap, the Additional District Magistrate (ADM) of Boudh Ramakanta Sethi was killed after his official vehicle hit a roadside tree on National Highway-57 at Charichhak near Kalarapatha on Monday.
As per the report, Sethi was en-route to Bhubaneswar early this morning in a Maruti Suzuki car bearing Registration Number OD 27 A 5251 when lost control over the wheels. Later the vehicle skidded off the road to hit a roadside tree to get badly mangled.
Sethi who remained trapped inside the vehicle with grievous injury was shifted to Boudh District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) immediately by some bystanders but succumbed there under treatment.
Local police has rushed to the spot and started an investigation into the incident after seizing the vehicle.
