Bombs hurled during a group clash in Ganjam, 4 injured

Ganjam: Bombs have been hurled during a group clash at Bhimpur village under Patrapur police limits in Ganjam district this morning in which four persons have sustained injuries.

Reportedly, there has been a dispute among two rival groups over some unknown reason following which bombs have been hurled.

Thereafter, the locals immediately informed to the local police. On getting the information, Zarda police team reached the spot along with the scientific team.

The injured people have been rushed to Community Health Centre (CHC), Patrapur for immediate medical treatment.

From the preliminary investigation it has been ascertained that the stones and bricks were thrown at each other during the group clash. “No information has yet been found in relation with the hurdled bombs,” said Police Officer Bhubananda Pradhan.

Till the last reports came in, a team of police force have been deployed at the village to maintain law and order.
