Cuttack: The body of a school headmaster who went on missing from last three days was today recovered from Mahanadi river bank near Khamar under Banki police limits.
As per reports the deceased identified as Nimai Mohapatra was the headmaster of Singhanathpur Primary School.
Police said that the body was first spotted by few locals who immediately informed the police. “We have earlier registered a missing case on the basis of a complaint filed by his family members. We have sent the body for post-mortem to ascertain the exact cause of death,” said a police official.
