Sambalpur: In a recent development regarding the Bhubaneswar tuition teacher, Gopala Krushna Badatia, who eloped with two of his girl students, has been held from Sambalpur while the two minors have been rescued from the area this morning.
Reportedly, all of them were found in a rented house in Ainthapali area of Sambalpur and will be brought to Bhubaneswar today following which they will be handed over to police.
During the search operation, it has been learnt that Gopala already went to Sambalpur on December 14 and has been living at the rented house. Following this, the two minor students also left Bhubaneswar on December 19.
It is to be noted that the incident was reported from Badagada area in the capital city of Odisha. The two students were studying in classes 8 and 10 respectively, added reports.
It has also been alleged that Gopala has been in a love affair with both the minor girls. The minors’ parents had asked the students not to attend the tuition classes a few days ago after Gopala had made sexual advances towards following which he had threatened them to kidnap the minor girls
