Bhubaneswar reports 5 Coronavirus positive cases on June 8

Bhubaneswar: 5 new cases of Covid-19 were detected in Odisha’s capital city Bhubaneswar in the last 24 hours.

According to reports by Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on June 8, 2022 the cases reported in the city were local contact cases. Single positive cases were reported today from Saheed nagar, Gajapati Nagar, Kalinga Nagar, Lewis road and  Old town area of the city.

With today’s development, the total Covid-19 cases have increased to 1,56,712. The recovered cases are 1,55,387. The total deceased cases are 1193. At present, the active Covid-19 cases in Bhubaneswar stand at 111. The recovered cases in BMC in last 24 hours were 5.

Odisha on Wednesday reported 15 new Covid cases, informed the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department.

The positive tally stands at 12,88,545. Reportedly, among the 15 it is to be noted that 10 patients are in quarantine and 5 are local contacts. Covid-19 active cases in Odisha currently stand at 105.
