Bhubaneswar and Cuttack record 142 and 27 Covid positive cases respectively on October 29

Bhubaneswar: As on October 29, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has registered 142 new covid-19 positive cases while Cuttack city (CMC area) recorded 27 cases.

Cuttack city has witnessed 39 recovered cases informed CMC while Bhubaneswar has recovered 256 recovered cases informed BMC today.

According to reports by BMC, out of the total 142 positive cases detected today, 47 positive cases are quarantine cases while local contact cases are 95. The positive cases linked with earlier positive cases are 47.

The total cases in Bhubaneswar now stand at 1, 18,076 while the total recovered cases are 1, 13,988. The total death cases recorded in the BMC is 1052.  Active cases in the city are 3015.

Out of the total 27 cases registered in CMC on Friday, 01 cases are from institutional quarantine, 16 cases are from home quarantine and 10 local contact cases.

Total Covid-19 cases in Cuttack city are 44,783 while the recovered cases are 44,005. The active cases today are 687.

A total of 365 Covid-19 positive cases including 56 in the 0-18 years age group have been detected positive in Odisha in the last 24 hours taking the tally to 10,40,595 informed the Information & Public Relations (I&PR) Department on Friday.

Among the 365 positives, there are 212 quarantine cases and 153 local contact cases.
