Another 17 Covid patients recover in Odisha today

Bhubaneswar: As many as 17 patients have recovered from Covid-19 in Odisha, informed the Health & Family Welfare (H&FW) department on April 15. With this development the total Covid-19 recovered patients in Odisha have reached to 12,78,622.

The recovered patients are being discharged from various facilities across the state, informed the Health department through its official Twitter handle.

According to the H&FW department of the state, the highest recoveries were in Sonepur district followed by Cuttack and Malkangiri districts.

The details of the recovery cases from different districts today are as follows:

5 from Sonepur

4 from Cuttack

2 from Malkangiri

2 from Sambalpur

1 from Jajapur

3 from State Pool

Odisha on Friday reported only 17 new Covid cases including three in the 0-18 years age group, informed to the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department. The positive tally stands at 12,87,902.

Reportedly, among the 17 positives, 10 patients are in quarantine, and seven are local contacts. The active cases in Odisha currently stand at 121.
