Puri: A father-son duo were killed and another severely injured in a road accident on late Tuesday at Pidhapatna square on Patnaikiya road in Delanga of Puri district.
The victims father-son have been identified as Pabana Behera and Dhadia Behera who belong to Sebaka Sahi of Jenapur. The injured victim is Pabana’s brother-in-law.
As per reports, the road mishap took place when the bikers who were going on a motorcycle hit a truck from behind. The truck, used for carrying sand, was down and waiting for repair. The father-son duo was killed on the spot. The injured has been shifted to a hospital in Bhubaneswar for treatment.
The local police have taken the bodies for autopsy and are conducting an investigation in the matter.
