1 killed, another injured after miscreants attack in Ganjam
One person was killed, while another sustained serious injuries after some unknown miscreants attack in Badarampalli village in Ganjam
Ganjam: One person was killed, while another sustained serious injuries after some unknown miscreants attack in Badarampalli village under Rambha police limits in Ganjam district.
The deceased identified as Padma Reddy alias Mitu and injured Laxmi Narasingh Panda of Komanda village.
Sources say, Padma and Laxmi were on their way home, when some miscreants attacked them with sharp weapon and fled from the scene. Some passerby noticed them and immediately rushed them to Purshottampur hospital for medical aid.
Both the duo were immediately shifted to MKCG hospital in Berhampur, where Padma was declared dead and Laxmi is undergoing treatment.
On being informed about the attack, Rambha police along with Chattrapur SDPO reached the spot and started an investigation.
Meanwhile, it is still unclear why the attack took place.
