MS Dhoni reveals his first look from sci-fi series Atharva, Watch

Former Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni revealed the first look from his graphic novel titled Atharva: The Origin on Wednesday. The novel is written by Ramesh Thamilmani.

The series is produced by Vincent Adaikalaraj and Ashok Manor and is backed by Dhoni Entertainment. It is said to be a mythological sci-fi web-series.

The video shared by Dhoni shows the former cricketer in a never-before-seen avatar. The animated character of MS Dhoni is seen fighting against a demon-like army on a battlefield.

The Fans of the former cricketer are very excited and surprised after seeing Dhoni in the brand new avatar. The fans took to Twitter to review the former cricketer’s new look and praised the new look of Dhoni.

Sharing the first look from the series on Facebook, MS Dhoni wrote, “Happy to announce my new Avatar..Atharva. (sic).”

This has also created a buzz on Twitter many were seen discussing Dhoni’s new look. One Twitter users said “Dint expected this total surprise, Today double treat.” While another user wrote, “So exciting” with fire emojis.

Another user wrote, #MSDhoni upcoming graphic novel #Atharva first look Hara Hara mahadev.

If we look at the comments of the fans, then Dhoni’s new look seems to have pleased them and they are quite surprised to see the former skipper in this animated avatar.

Atharva: The Origin was announced in 2020 as “an adaptation of an unpublished book by debutant author”.

MS Dhoni’s wife Sakshi also spoke about the series and said, “The book is a mythological sci-fi which explores the journey of a mysterious Aghori who has been captured at a high-tech facility. The secrets revealed by this Aghori could alter the myths of the ancient, beliefs of the existing and course of the forthcoming.”
