A dog bit Arjun Tendulkar during practice just before the LSG vs MI match, this has raised questions on the safety of players.

IPL 2023: In a shocking incident that has raised many questions on the safety of players in the match grounds during IPL outings, a dog bit Arjun Tendulkar during practice.

It is worth mentioning that, Arjun revealed about this incident during the team meet of the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) players at the Ekna Stadium in Lucknow.

The Left-arm all-rounder Arjun Tendulkar is part of Mumbai Indians. The Lucknow Super Giants shared a video on social media, in which Arjun Tendulkar is seen meeting two LSG players, Yudhveer Singh Charak and Mohsin Khan.

It is during this meeting that Arjun is seen telling both of them that he had been bitten by a dog on the grounds during the practice session.

According to reports, the dog bit Arjun on his left hand hence he was seen not practicing at the nets. Till date, Arjun has played 4 matches in a row. It is worth adding that, Arjun Tendulkar has taken 3 wickets in 4 matches that he has played in IPL 2023 season.

Earlier on April 17, 2023 as Arjun Tendulkar, son of Sachin Tendulkar played his first IPL match for the Mumbai Indians. Ever since his name was announced under the playing XI for the match against Kolkata Knight Riders, fans, former cricketers, and experts took to social media to share their blessings and suggestions for the young uncapped Indian all-rounder.

Even the Bollywood superstar, Shah Rukh Khan, who is one of the owners of the KKR franchise, took to his Twitter to share his views on Arjun’s debut.

“As competitive as this IPL may be… but when u see a friend’s son #ArjunTendulkar take the field it is a matter of such happiness and joy. Wish Arjun all the best and @sachin_rt what a proud moment!! Wow!,” Shah Rukh tweeted.

The 23-year-old player opened the bowling attack for Mumbai Indians and played two impressive overs. He gave away 17 runs without taking a wicket. He was bested by a six and a four by KKR batter Venkatesh Iyer, who continued to complete his maiden IPL century later in the innings.
