Everyone is well aware of the food chain. Carnivorous animals eat the flesh of different species, however, eating one among their category of animal is quite uncommon. Meanwhile, a video of an alligator trying to swallow another alligator is going viral over the internet, leaving the internet thrilled.
The visual has been shared on social media platform Instagram by wildlife enthusiast Mike Holston on his official handle @thereaktarzann. The post has been accompanied with a caption that read, “Bigger Alligator eating a smaller alligator.” In the footage, an alligator in a marshland is seen gripping another alligator in its jaws and forcefully slamming it onto the ground. As per the visuals, it is trying to swallow the small alligator.
Just two days after being shared, the video has garnered over 3.5 million views, while, lakhs of Instagram users have liked the viral clip.
Reacting to the video, one user said, “Damn it’s already dead, why slap it around like that.”Another person wrote, “Listen, it’s a crocodile eat crocodile world out there…nobody ain’t safe.”
Meanwhile, a third person said, “The way they body slam their food be so funny. I know why they do so but it’s still funny.” Adding to this, another user wrote, “Two crocodiles entered into the river, but only one came out…through the tail of the other.” A fifth user commented, “yes alligators are reptilians so essentially they are incapable of emotion like the way dolphins, elephants, monkeys are. Mammals have the capacity to care and acknowledge their children as kin. Reptilians do not have that part of the brain (I don’t know the science terms) lol.”
