Commonly known as the red wine pool in Japan, an amusement park in this country offers different specialized bath options. Yet, the red wine bath is the most popular one though.

Red wine is an expensive luxury. But this amusement park in Japan has created a red wine pool for tourists where you can enjoy a lavish bath with red wine.

If you are planning to visit Japan anytime soon and you love red wine, then Hakone Kowakien Yunessun in the city of Hakone is a must-visit for you.

Hakone is located in the Kanagawa prefecture of Japan. This hot spring theme park has plenty of bathing options ranging from coffee to green tea to wine baths.

The wine is strictly for bathing and is not meant to be drunk.

According to the Japan National Tourism Organisation, the pool features a 3.6-meter-tall wine bottle and there is a special wine show in which staff members spray visitors with Yunessun wine.

This Wine Bath has a brilliant grape colour and rich aroma. Used as a rejuvenation bath, it is said that it was loved by the likes of Cleopatra and Queen Mary. It’s a bath that you can expect skin beautification effects as well.

Many tourists have shared photos and videos of them having fun at the theme park. They have referred to it as a fun experience for both adults and kids alike.

Instagram user Morokokoko shared a video of the pool on Instagram and wrote about it in the caption. The caption reads, “During my Japan trip we visited an amusement park with water slides and pools where guests enjoy in swimwear. They offer unique baths with wine, sake, green tea, and chocolate…”

The post has earned more than 110k after being posted to Instagram on March 10. Besides, it has garnered several interesting comments.

A user commented, “I wonder how many people pee in it.”

“From my research, They won’t let you go if you’re black, if you’re from certain countries, and if you have tattoos piercings, or colorful hair. You have to be a standard human form to be allowed here. Someone correct me if I’m wrong,” another user commented.

“I’ll drink the whole pool,” quipped another user.

There is also a water slide and a separate pool for kids to enjoy. You can also rent towels and swimsuits in case you forgot to bring your own.
