Bull valued Rs 1 crore steals the show at Krishi Mela Bengaluru

A 3.5 year old bull became the centre of attraction at the Krishi Mela in Bengaluru as it was valued at around Rs 1 crore, reported news Agency ANI.

Named Krishna, the said bull is a Hallikar breed that is mother of all cattle breeds.

Another specialty about the bull is that the semen of this breed is in high demand. The owner of the bull said that he used to sell the animal’s semen at Rs 1000.

ANI posted about it on its twitter handle on Sunday and wrote, “A 3.5 yr old bull named Krishna, valued at around Rs 1 Cr, has become centre of attraction at Krishi Mela in Bengaluru Hallikar breed is mother of all cattle breeds. Semen of this breed is in high demand & we sell a dose of the semen at Rs 1000, said Boregowda, the bull owner.”

The Krishi Mela 2021 was organised on physical and virtual mode from November 11 to 14.

Interesting information reported about the said Krishi Mela is that it was inaugurated by a tribal woman turned modern farmer in the absence of Karnataka chief minister Basavaraj Bommai.
