Bhubaneswar: A youth has been beaten-up mercilessly by the locals of Krushnapur village under Dhauli police limits in outskirts of Bhubaneswar in Odisha on Tuesday evening.
Reportedly, there was a heated argument between the youth, identified as Hrushikesh Swain, and his wife for some unknown reason. When the locals tried to intervene and stop the alleged ugly argument, Hrushikesh started abusing the locals.
As a result, the enraged locals tied him to an electric pole and thrashed him mercilessly.
Later, Hrushikesh lodged an FIR with the Dhauli police station and the cops initiated an investigation into the matter.
