Kalahandi: Tension prevailed in Chilapada village under Jaypatna police limits in Dharamagarh block this morning after body of a youth was found hanging from a tree in the area under mysterious circumstances.
While the identification of the deceased is not known, he appears to be in his thirties.
The death came to light after some villagers spotted the body hanging from a ‘Gambhari’ (beechwood) tree in a nearby field in the morning. They immediately called up Jaypatna Police and informed the matter.
Police have rushed the body to local hospital for autopsy and launched an investigation into the death.
