According to reliable reports, a woman sub-inspector (SI) in Bolangir of the Saintala police station has taken this step.
The woman SI is said to be critical after the alleged act of consuming poison. The act took place at her rented house in Bolangir district.
However it is worth mentioning that, the reason behind consumption of poison by the SI is still unclear.
