Cuttack: An undertrial died in SCB Medical college and hospital in Cuttack while being treated, said reliable reports in this regard on Saturday.
According to reports, the undertrial has been identified as Ajay Das. Reports further say that, Ajay tried to take his life in Keonjhar Jail yesterday.
Later, he was rescued in a critical condition and first admitted to Keonjhar Hospital. Later as his condition deteriorated he was shifted to SCB Medical college and hospital in Cuttack and then his condition became serious.
Reports say that Ajay was arrested in a sexual assault case. Ajay was living as an undertrial prisoner. Ajay died last night. The body will be sent for postmortem today.
