Two SOG jawans injured in IED blast planted by maoists in Baliguda
Two jawans of Special Operation Group (SOG) sustained critical injuries in IED blast in Sirla Jungle of Kandhamal district
Baliguda: Two jawans of Special Operation Group (SOG) sustained critical injuries in IED blast in Sirla Jungle under Tumudibandha police limits of Kandhamal district on Sunday.
The identity of the jawans is yet to be ascertained.
The Maosits attacked the SOG jawans during the combing operation at around 10 am. They had plant IED in a tree, when the jawans were crossing, it blowed off and two jawans sustained critical injuries.
The jawans were immediately shifted to Baliguda hospital for medical aid.
The combing operation is still underway.
