Two people killed in different incidents in Odisha’s Angul district

Angul: Two people were killed in two different incidents in Angul district of Odisha. The first accident took place near Araya Dhaba (eatery) in Angul town, while, another accident occurred in Purunagada village under Bantla police limits of the district.

According to sources, one Ranjit Pattnaik was on his way to Gudisahi of Angul town on his motorcycle, when a buffalo came in front of his bike, leading to the accident. The locals present at the scene immediately rushed him to the District Headquarter Hospital in critical condition. However, he succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment.

Meanwhile, the family of the deceased suspect that he was murdered and it was not just an accident. After receiving information about the incident, police reached the spot and initiated a probe into the matter.

On the same day, another accident occurred in Purunagada village under Bantla police limits of the district.

According to sources, the deceased, identified as Anand Bhoi was on riding motorcycle where an unknown vehicle hit him. The locals present at the spot rushed him to the nearby hospital in critical condition. However, he succumbed to injuries.

After receiving information related to accident, police reached the spot and initiated a probe into the matter.
