Twin City Covid Update: Bhubaneswar and Cuttack record 150 and 25 positive cases respectively
Bhubaneswar: As on October 31, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has registered 150 new covid-19 positive cases while Cuttack city (CMC area) recorded 25 cases.
Cuttack city has witnessed 27 recovered cases informed CMC while Bhubaneswar has recovered 267 recovered cases informed BMC today.
According to reports by BMC, out of the total 150 positive cases detected today, 40 positive cases are quarantine cases while local contact cases are 110. The positive cases linked with earlier positive cases are 40.
The total cases in Bhubaneswar now stand at 1, 18,366 while the total recovered cases are 1, 14,516. The total death cases recorded in the BMC is 1055. Active cases in the city are 2774.
Out of the total 25 cases registered in CMC on Sunday, 03 cases are from institutional quarantine, 09 cases are from home quarantine and 13 local contact cases.
Total Covid-19 cases in Cuttack city are 44,819 while the recovered cases are 44,069. The active cases today are 659.
