Bhubaneswar: In a bid to show solidarity with jawans martyred in the Pulwama terror attack, Odisha traders association has decided to observe a bandh.
Secretary of Odisha traders’ association Sudhakar Panda said that in support of trade bandh call given by the Confederation of All India Traders, all commercial market will remain closed on February 18. There will be no business activity on the day from 6 am to 6 pm, he added.
Altogether 18 states across the country will observe trade bandh on the day, sources said.
Panda said all business federations are with the government in combating the terrorists. There is a need for strong action by the government to combat the menace.
It is worthwhile to mention here that at least 40 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans were killed in the attack on Thursday.
