Tiger scare in Rayagada of Odisha attacks and kills cattle, locals terrified

Tiger scare in Rayagada yet again as there have been reports of cattle being killed by one in the area, locals are panic stricken.

Rayagada: There is a lot of terror in Gudari and Gunupur of Rayagada district in Odishaas a tiger has killed cattle in the area. The tiger killed and ate a cow in Amkhola forest in the Gunupur forest area. Padmapur Forest Department has removed the injured carcass of the cow from the forest.

There, the forest department has found the footprints of a huge tiger. The forest department is alerting the people in the surrounding villages on the assumption that the tiger has killed and eaten the cow. Efforts have been started to track the movement of tiger by installing trap cameras. Footprints of tiger have also been found near Pulputi, Jhumpapur of Gunupur range.

It is creating terror among the people. In the last two days, the forest department had marked footprints on the river bank in the Gudari forest area.

A few days ago, while hunting a cow in the Gudari forest the tiger left the hunt and ran away due to a disturbance by the villagers. It is found that the cow died later.
