Tiger hide seized in Boudh of Odisha, 2 arrested

A team of STF conducted raid with the help of Forest Officials of Boudh Forest Division and seized tiger hide and arrested two poachers. 

Boudh: A team of STF conducted raid with the help of Forest Officials of Boudh Forest Division and seized tiger hide and arrested two poachers.

The forest department staff raided while the two poachers were dealing in tiger skins. The tiger hide was seized from a paddy field in Fatamunda village of Sharapada section, Kantamal range, Boudh district. After receiving the news of tiger poaching, the forest department visited Tusura police station.

According to reports, tiger skinning was going on in Tussura police station area. The forest department got the news from some source. Finally, a forest team raided the said village and arrested Mukesh Manhira. After questioning Mukesh, information was found that there is a leopard skin in the village of Boudh.
