Bhubaneswar: Tension prevailed on the Utkal University campus in Capital city of Odisha late last night after two groups of students clashed in the campus after holi celebrations and set two vehicles on fire at boys hostel.
According to reports, some students barged into the Godabarisha Boys Hostel and locked the hostel gate, later vandalised several vehicles and torched them.
The exact reason behind the group clash is yet to be ascertained.
On being informed, the Saheed Nagar police reached the campus and held discussions with the two group of students.
Investigation by police is still underway.
