Suspicious drone recovered from Odisha’s Dhenkanal

Dhenkanal: In an interesting incident, a suspicious-looking drone was recovered from Rengali canal of the Dhenkanal district in Odisha, said reliable reports on Friday.

According to sources, the drone that resembles a mini-plane was recovered from the Rengali canal in Huda of Indipur village under Sadar police station limits of Dhenkanal district.

Some youngsters and children of the village first spotted the drone that looked like a mini plane and immediately informed their families. The elder members of the village found it to be suspicious and immediately called the Dhenkanal sadar police and informed them.

It is worth mentioning that there were as many as two cameras mounted on the said drone. The villagers were initially frightened when they first saw it. Later the drone was recovered and handed over to the police.

The incident was reported to the nearest Sadar police station. The drone is 7 feet long and 4 feet wide. There are various questions that are being raised relating to the drone such as, under what circumstances the drone was found there, why it fell off and no one recovered it, who was flying it and why.

The Dhenkanal sadar police will investigate all aspects of this suspicious drone, said reliable reports relating to this matter.
