Bhubaneswar: Tension gripped Capital Hospital at Unit-6 here on Monday morning after the Hospital staff allegedly refused to register new patients, protesting non-payment of salaries.
According to reports, the staff at the hospital’s registration counter refused to issue tickets to new patients and said new patients will not be admitted until their pending salaries are cleared by the Hospital authorities.
Following this, some of the people who had queued up outside the counter created a ruckus.
Meanwhile, Police reached the spot and controlled the situation. The Police also pacified the irate people and assured them that they will speak to the Hospital staff regarding the matter.
