Six-year-old girl kidnapped in Deogarh rescued from Sundergarh

The six-year-old girl who was kidnapped from her grandmother’s arms in Deogarh Town of Odisha, has been rescued from Sundergarh on Tuesday.

Sundergarh: The six-year-old girl who was kidnapped from her grandmother’s arms in Deogarh Town of Odisha, has been rescued from Sundergarh on Tuesday. The child was snatched by some unknown miscreants while she was returning from tuition in Deogarh Town of Odisha on Monday evening.

Some local people reportedly found the girl child by the roadside and informed her family members after getting their phone number from her.

According to reports, the child is the daughter of Deogarh-based Bhai Bhai cloth store owner Alok Agarwal. She was kidnapped by two bike-born miscreants in front of her house when she was returning from tuition with her grandmother.

Soon, people gathered at the spot after the elderly woman raised an alarm. However, by the time the abductors had fled the spot. Later, the family members filed a police complaint over the issue. The police started investigating the case with the help of CCTV footage.

Now, the minor girl has been rescued from Sundergarh. But, it is not who had kidnapped her and the reason behind this abduction. It is also not known why they left the girl by the roadside.
