Bhubaneswar: The Khandagiri Police on Tuesday busted a sex racket being operated from a rented accommodation in the area and arrested two persons in connection with the case.
The Police also rescued three women from the rented accommodation, who have been sent to a shelter home. All the three women hail from West Bengal.
According to reports, the Police received a tip-off regarding flesh trade being operated clandestinely in the area and busted the racket after conducting a raid.
The Police has also seized a car, guns, bullets and several other things from the location.
Meanwhile, the arrestees have been booked under the Immoral Trafficking Act of the IPC. Investigation into the matter is underway.
