Cuttack: The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended two lawyers and two judicial officers for elevation as judges of the Orissa High Court.
The lawyers recommended by the Collegium are: Aditya Kumar Mohapatra and Mruganka Sekhar Sahoo.
Whereas the judicial officers recommended for judgeship are: Radha Krishna Pattanaik and Sashikanta Mishra.
A resolution to this effect was passed by the Collegium in a meeting held on September 29, say reports.
The Orissa High Court currently has 13 sitting judges, whereas the full strength of the bench ais 20 judges.
In case the Should the Centre process these recommendations, the vacancies will decrease to 3 judges.
