In a tragic road accident in Banki block of Cuttack district in Odisha, one person died on the spot and one other is critical.
Banki: In a tragic road accident in Banki block of Cuttack district in Odisha, one person died on the spot and one other is critical.
According to reliable reports, the accident took place near the Rana Sankhapur area in Banki block. The car collided head-on with a tree on the side of the road, said reports.
It is worth mentioning here that the occupants of the car were returning from a marriage reception late last night. The people were travelling from Banki to Athgarh.
The driver allegedly lost control over the wheels and banged the car into the tree at high speed. One was killed on the spot whereas, another was critically injured.
The injured person was rushed to the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack, he is said to be in a critical condition.
