PM Modi’s Balangir visit preponed to January 15

Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Balangir visit has been preponed by a day, party sources informed.

As per the BJP Legislature Party leader Kanak Vardhan Singhdeo, earlier slated to visit Balangir on January 16, the PM will now arrive in the district on January 15. However, the senior BJP leader didn’t mention any reason for the rescheduling thereto.

As per the plan, Modi will attend both official and party programs during his Balangir visit, where the BJP state unit expects him to train guns on Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik and the ruling BJD government.

Notably, it will be the third visit of the Prime Minister to Odisha in less than a month’s time. Earlier, Modi came to Bhubaneswar on December 24 to inaugurate the new campus of IIT Arugul and then visited Baripada yesterday to launch projects worth Rs 4,500 cr.
