Bhubaneswar: Mancheswar police have seized ganja weighing one quintal from a Bolero vehicle late last night. Police have also arrested two persons in this connection.
Getting a tip-off police intercepted the Bolero vehicle and seized the contraband packed in plastic sacks.
Bothe accused have been identified as Mohd Sarfan (33) and Niraj Kumar Paswan (28), both residents of Bihar.
Police said that both the accused were transporting the ganja from Bihar to the state capital. “ We are further investigating to ascertain the source of procurement of ganja,” said a police official.
