Odisha vigilance raid on District Sub Registrar of Nayagarh

On the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets there has been an Odisha vigilance raid on the District Sub Registrar, Nayagarh.

Nayagarh: On the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets there has been an Odisha vigilance raid on the District Sub Registrar, Nayagarh.

According to reports, the raid was conducted on Saswat Kumar Pattanaik the District Sub Registrar of Nayagarh. Simultaneous house searches are being conducted by Odisha Vigilance.

The house searches are being led by eight DSPs, six Inspectors and other staff on the strength of search warrants issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar.

The Odisha vigilance raid are being conducted at the following six places in Nayagarh and Kendrapara, said reliable reports:

  1. Rented house of Pattanaik at Debottara colony, Lane- 4, Nayagarh.
  2. House of Pattanaik at Talabaranga. District- Kendrapara.
  3. His office at DSR, Nayagarh.
  4. Parental house at At-Talagaon P.S- Kudanagari. District- Kendrapara.
  5. House of relative at Pentha, Distict- Kendrapara.
  6. House of another relative at Dalanta, District- Kendrapara.

The search is in progress. Further detailed reports awaited in this matter.
