Balasore: In an unfortunate incident, a youth reportedly died after falling from a moving train near Alipur railway gate.
While it is immediately not known from which train and under what circumstances the youth fell off and died on the spot, his body was found on railway tracks near Alipur railway gate.
Some locals who spotted the body of the deceased youth, who is yet to be identified, informed the police about the incident. However, till the filing of this report, none either from the Government Railway Police (GRP) or the Railway Protection Force (RPF) has reached the spot.
The deceased youth was wearing a red t-shirt and black pants.
Meanwhile, a huge crowd from the locality was seen on the spot as everyone tried to see the youth and establish his identity.
“We do not know actually when he died and more about the youth. We assume that he died this morning after falling from a running train. His age is assumed to be 23-24. He has a mobile phone on his pants pocket. However, as there was no call from anyone and since the GRP is yet to reach the spot, we did not touch the body,” said one Basant Kumar Rout, a local resident.
