Meanwhile, IMD has forecasted that the cold wave sweeping across Odisha will likely subside to some extent in the state. Though the effects of the cold will be lower, the on set of dense fog will continue as usual in the state.

The Meteorological Centre has issued a yellow warning for dense fog for two days for 13 coastal and nearby districts for today and to 14 districts for tomorrow. On December 24, the visibility will drop to 200 meters during the morning hours.
