Odisha: Low pressure to develop over Bay of Bengal within 24 hours

A low pressure area is likely to develop over Bay of Bengal within next 24 hours. It is likely to intensify into a depression by November 16.

Bhubaneswar: A low pressure area is likely to develop over the Bay of Bengal within next 24 hours. It is likely to intensify into a depression by November 16. This is as per predictions by the Indian Meteorological Department.

Afterwards, it might intensify further or take a different form, as per IMD predictions. On the other hand, international meteorologist Jason Nicholls has predicted that the low pressure area over the Bay of Bengal is likely to intensify into a cyclonic storm.

Nicholls predicts that the low-pressure area will possibly evolve into a cyclonic storm by the end of the coming week. The cyclonic storm is likely to have significant impact on North-eastern India and Bangladesh. Under its influence, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry might as well experience rains in the latter part of the week.
