Berhampur : Vigilance sleuths on Thursday conducted raids at the residence and other places belonging to Nandananda Padhy, Assistant Teacher of Bauri Bandhu High School here in Odisha on allegations of acquiring assets disproportionate to known sources of income.
The anti-corruption officials conducted simultaneous searches at four different places including his office room at Bauri Bandhu High School in the outskirt of the city.
Padhy’s residence at Ankoli Govind Vihar in the city and his parental residence at Gaunj have been simultaneously searched.
The total estimation of assets disproportionate to the accused teacher’s known sources of income was yet to be unearthed as vigilance raids were underway, when the last reports came in.
