Odisha Chief Secretary PK Jena today visited Puri and reviewed the Parikrama project of the 12th century shrine in the presence of the district collector and other concerned officers.
Puri: Odisha Chief Secretary PK Jena today visited Puri and reviewed the Parikrama project of the 12th century shrine in the presence of the district collector and other concerned officers. The Parikrama Project is scheduled to be inaugurated on January 17.
After reviewing the project, the Chief Secretary informed that the ongoing work for the project will be completed by January 11.
After completion of the work, it will be handed over to the temple administration, he said adding that thereafter, the police will take over the area on January 14 for security-related drills and arrangements
Jena also reviewed the work of the new parking lot at Samanga, the toilet and rest shelters.
