Odisha artist’s mural on ‘Jawan’ wins appreciation from Shah Rukh Khan

Rahul Patra from Nabarangapur of Odisha received appreciation from Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan for his mural on 'Jawan.

Bhubaneswar: In recent news, a die-hard fan of Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan received appreciation from the King Khan himself. The fan is Rahul Patra, hailing from Nabarangapur of Odisha.

Patra has captured the attention of many, including the superstar himself, because of his remarkable artwork. Rahul Patra hails from the remote village Pradhaniguda. He is a software engineer by profession and works in Bangalore. While his profession keeps him busy, his true passion lies in art.

Inspired by Shah Rukh Khan’s recent film ‘Jawan,’ Rahul created a large mural of his beloved actor on the wall of a cashew nut mill in his village. The video of his artwork was shared widely on social media, and gained popularity rather quickly. Fans of Shah Rukh Khan from all around the world flooded the video with praise and heartwarming comments.

One fan named Aditya shared the video on X (formerly Twitter). He expressed his amazement at the talent displayed by people like Rahul. The most remarkable response on the ‘Jawan’ mural came from King Khan himself, who saw the video and personally thanked Rahul. He wrote “Thank you so much for this video Rahul…. Naam toh suna hi hai. Ha ha… You are very talented my man. Fantastic artwork…. Love u.”
