Cuttack: Bhumika Das,wife of Ollywood Actor Amlan Das, has released a video on social media rubbishing the rumours that she had jumped into the Mahanadi river over any family dispute and requesting not to spread fake news.
In a video, Bhumika says “I had gone to river to throw the puja materials. I had kept fast due to Diwali, i felt weak and lost my balance as i was wearing high heels, follwing which i fell into the river”.
She has urged people not to spread fake news and rumours to malign the image of her family and husband.
Yesterday, Bhumika fell into the Mahanadi river from Madhusudan bridge near Nuapatna area in Cuttack. With the help of the locals and the police, she was rescued.
