Odisha: 12-hour bandh called in Kantabanji over demand on district status
A 12-hour bandh has been called today in Kantabanji town of Balangir district of Odisha over the demand of district status.
Kantabanji: A 12-hour bandh has been called by the Zilla Sangharsh Samiti of Kantabanji town in Balangir district of Odisha. The bandh has been called over the demand of district status of Kantabanji.
Business establishments, schools, colleges, and vehicular movement in the area have been shut down for 12-hours. Members of the Zilla Sangharsh Samiti have staged a protest at Indira Chowk of the town.
Over 30 organizations in the town are involved in the protest today.
