New academic session in Odisha government schools to start from April 2

Bhubaneswar: The new academic session in Odisha government schools is scheduled to start from April 2, said reliable reports on Friday.

The new academic year for school students in Odisha will start from April 2. Therefore, Odisha School Education Programme Authority (OSEPA) has asked the principals to give importance to enrolling the students in appropriate classes according to their age.

According to reports, OSEPA project director Anupam Saha has written a letter to all the District Education Officers (DEOs) of the state regarding the academic session in Odisha.

The school authorities will inform the students and parents on April 2 about the summative assessment SA-2 results of students from Standard 1 to Standard 9. Similarly, children have been asked to receive the free textbooks as soon as the school year begins.
